Puffins
A very distinctive seabird; everyone loves a puffin! Bempton Cliffs, an area around
10 miles south of Scarborough, is an excellent place to see them. They are one of
these birds that really stands out, with its’ multi-coloured beak and almost ‘comical’
appearance!

A closer view of this amazing looking bird. The dutch word for a puffin is papegaaiduiker,
which literally translates as ‘parrot diver’, which I think is a fantastic name!
