Robins

Introducing the ever-popular Robin, a bird most associated Christmas, with its distinctive red-orange breast. They can be quite characterful, making the Robin a much loved bird for enthusiasts.

A very obliging model, patiently waiting for me to get the photo. That, or sporting a look that says, ‘Well, get on with it then’!

Is this my best side?

Or this one?

Even though the robin is quite small in the frame, it is easy spotted with the red breast.

A bit of a cliché with this shot, a robin in a snow scene.

Being quite tame, photographs like this are less of a challenge to get as they are less likely to fly away when you try to get close.

Arriving for lunch.
